YOU'RE BACON ME CRAZY BACON WRAPPED CORN
Ingredients
12 slices bacon (traditional cut versus thick cut)
4 ears of corn, shucked (if attached, leave stalk intact for easier turning on the grill)
Your favorite BBQ dry rub
Instructions
Prepare grill for indirect cooking, placing pre-heated Kingsford charcoal briquets on opposite sides of the grill's charcoal grate and leaving the center empty. Add 2-3 chunks of your favorite smoking wood to the briquets then replace the main cooking grate and adjust bottom vents to bring the grill temperature to 375 degrees.
Beginning at the bottom of each ear of corn, tightly wrap a single slice of bacon around the corn being sure to overlap the bacon with each layer. Continue wrapping with another 2 slices until the ear is almost entirely covered. Dust the bacon with dry rub then set the bacon wrapped ears of corn in the center of the grill. Cover the grill and allow the corn to cook for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking process until the bacon is fully browned and crisp. Remove and serve immediately.
