Sure you can buy lemon-pepper seasoning at your local grocer or spice purveyor but nothing beats this version which includes fresh lemon zest!
LEMON PEPPER DRY RUB
Ingredients
1 tbsp. Kosher salt
½ tbsp. dried lemon zest, finely minced and air dried overnight
2 tsp. cracked black pepper
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. onion powder
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and blend well. Store in a refrigerated airtight container for up to one week.
