The NFL's big game is about to kick off and to help you get the party started right, we have teamed with Snake River Farms to create the ultimate game-time spread -- the burger bar.
For the burgers, figure two 3oz. burgers per guest. Simply prepare your grill for high heat cooking (450+ degrees), form Snake River Farms ground beef in to patties that are approximately ½ inch wider than the slider buns to allow for shrinkage, season liberally with Kosher salt and ground black pepper, then grill for 3-4 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 130 degrees for medium-rare.
From there, let your imagination run wild as you assemble a diverse array of toppings from which your guests can choose.
Taking it one step further, create a menu of possible topping combinations including the Italian burger (pesto, mozzarella, and sliced cured meats; the Frito pie burger (corn chips, cheddar cheese, chili, and onions); the Mexican burger (guacamole, pickled jalapenos, and crushed tortilla chips); the Southwestern burger (fire roasted poblano peppers, pepperjack cheese, and chipotle mayo); the Memphis burger (pulled pork and coleslaw); Thai burger (pickled cucumbers and Sriracha mayo); Black and blue burger (pepper bacon, blue cheese dressing, and sautéed onions); Buffalo burger (crumbled blue cheese, shredded carrots and celery, and buffalo sauce); Pizza burger (tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni); and so on!
